Summer EDC (Everyday Carry) 2024
Take a look at how I set up my EDC for the Summer of 2024 while traveling around Europe. Some people carry more, some less, in the end our EDC should be something that reflects who we are and what we value. For me I am a minimalist, and only carry things that have very high utility to my daily needs. Here are links to all the items:
Let's break it down starting with my front right pocket, in their I carry my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy s23, and my EDC Knife is clipped on this pocket for ease of access with my "strong side hand". As I am currently in Europe I am unable to carry a pistol, as such the Benchmade Bugout knife is as much a daily tool as it is my means of self defense.
In my front left pocket I have our MKII Leather wallet that we released a few years ago for the holidays, and clipped onto this pocket is the Streamlight Micro USB EDC flashlight.
That is all for my pockets, on my wrist I am rocking a Casio G-Shock watch, which has been going strong for like 7 years at this point!
On my back I carry our Passport Cinch bag that was also a limited edition item. In the bag is my IFAK, the EDC Pocket Trauma Kit and a Direct Action Tourniquet Holder with an ETQ (Everyday Carry Tourniquet) and a Cyalume green glow stick. That covers me for all my first aid needs. The Cinch bag has a velcro loop backing that you can stick pouches to, so I have the new Stash-X EDC pouch stuck to that and fill it with my headphones, powerbank, card reader etc.
I also have a Hydro Flask in that bag with 1.5 L of water. Well that is my daily carry! Let me know what you think I am missing in the comments?
